The organizers of the tournament will offer a round-trip bus ride for players to the tournament venue. The price per person has not yet been confirmed. (somewhere between 15-20 thousand isk)
The bus leaves from BSÍ in Reykjavík at 10:00 on November 19.th. The bus does not wait. So be sure to arrive at BSÍ in time. It is a 7-hour drive to Skjóbrekka / Sel Hotel / Skútustaðir Guesthouse. So the bus should then arrive at 17:00. to Skjóbrekka / Sel Hótel / Skútustaðir Guesthouse, or two hours before the 1.st round starts.
The bus then leaves around 15:00 from Skjóbrekka / Sel Hotel/ Skútustaðir Guesthouse on Sunday November 22. Arrival in BSÍ Reykjavík should be around 22:00 on Sunday evening November 22.
The bus has free internet and a toilet. Max 49 players in the bus
The bus can pick up chess players on the way to the venue. It will also be possible to purchase a one way ticket, if that suits players.
